establishes that diets high
in sodium are associated with
hypertension or high blood
pressure which increases with
age. Diets low in sodium are
associated with low prevalence
of hypertension or high blood
pressure with little variance
with age.

by Health Promotion board,
Singapore "Salt is Sodium
Chloride and is only one of
the several sources of sodium
in your diet. Salt can be
commonly found in sauces and
preservatives.
A diet high in sodium increases
the risk of high blood pressure
and stroke.”So control
your sodium consumption or

age.
Low sodium is associated with
a low prevalence of blood
pressure with little or no
increase withage.
