In olden times, Vibuthi used to be the ash from Yagnas / Homams (Havans) performed in temples, and other community groups.

Yagna is supposed to purify the place where it is conducted. This is because of the medicinal value of the ingredients used in the sacred fire.

We manufacture Vibuthi with materials coresponding to those used in Havan / Homam.

It is made as per tradition . The materials are burnt with dry cow dung and the ash is ground, Sievedand packed.

The ingredients used :

Samith : Nine types of wood : Wood of Neem, Mango, Vilvam, (Bael) Arasam, Agar, Darbha, Stacattos and alasa.

Cow dung

Herbs : Tulsi, Arukam pul and Neem leaf.

Liquids : Milk, Honey, and Ghee.

Metal : Silver

Perfume : Natural Jasmine and vegetable waxes.
